Dr. Qunshan Gu

Dr. Qunshan Gu is a Research Scientist in the areas of Signal processing, video compression coding, and visual communications. He has been a researcher, Engineer, manager, director and VP at various companies such as PictureTel, Vweb, GIPS, Google, Ant Group. He is also the founder and CEO of Cybrook Inc. Dr. Gu is the original contributor of long-term/short-term multi-reference prediction for H.26x series of video coding standards and he has more than 80 patents granted and more than 50 papers published. Dr. Gu received his B.Sc., M.Sc and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering at Northern Jiaotong University, Beijing, China and did his Post-doctoral study at Concordia University, Montreal, Canada.
